El protocolo BitTorrent es el más utilizado para compartir toda clase de ficheros de gran tamaño. Hay muchos programas capaces de conectar a este tipo de red, pero pocos son tan sólidos como uTorrent. uTorrent es un cliente BitTorrent ligero y potente. Con él, podrás bajar todos los torrent que quieras. Ocupa poco espacio en disco y se carga en pocos segundos. En comparación con otros programas más pesados, uTorrent es muy placentero de usar. Minimizado en la barra de tareas, apenas estorba.
La ligereza de uTorrent, sin embargo, no supone una falta de funciones. Tiene todas las que cabe esperar de un cliente torrent completo, como un lector RSS, paneles de estadísticas, un asistente de red, apagado automático, programador de tareas y opciones avanzadas.
Todo esto en una interfaz limpia como pocas. Cada elemento de la ventana de uTorrent está perfectamente posicionado. Los botones de la barra superior son de fácil interpretacion, mientras que las pestañas inferiores aportan información sobre el torrent sin abandonar la pantalla de descargas.
En opinión de muchos, uTorrent es el mejor cliente para descargas torrent. Otros echan de menos características como un reproductor integrado o un buscador de torrents similar al de Vuze. Pero, si tenemos en cuenta los objetivos fundamentales de un cliente P2P, uTorrent aprueba con matrícula de honor.

Para traducir el programa al español, baja el pack de idiomas y cópialo al directorio C:\Archivos de programa\uTorrent.
